wli vision
Wagner Leadership Institute is an international apostolic training center, established to equip the saints for Kingdom ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). WLI training places the highest priority on impartation and activation for in-service saints. The goal is to equip the equippers through powerful impartation and activation, then release them into demonstrations of signs, wonders and miracles in this season of spiritual harvest. The Lord is using WLI to transform men and women so that He can transform cities and nations.
history & Mission
Founded in 1998 by Dr. C. Peter Wagner, WLI reflects a new paradigm resulting in a unique approach to training for practical ministry. Students learn in a creative, revelatory atmosphere of teaching, impartation and activation with opportunity for hands-on practical ministry application. WLI is called to establish new infrastructures for Kingdom growth through the Eph. 4:11 Kingdom Model. In 2010, WLI International was turned over by Peter Wagner to the leadership of Ché Ahn from Pasadena, California while Dr Wagner remains as Chancellor Emeritus. We are very impressed with Ché Ahn's leadership and the direction he is taking WLI. Because of the thousands of pastors and churches that relate to Ché Ahn, WLI will continue to grow in the nations.
we believe
Wagner Leadership Institute positions itself in the evangelical theological stream of Protestant Christianity. It adheres to the Apostles’ Creed and to the core doctrines of the Protestant Reformation, namely the ultimate and essential authority of the Scriptures for Christian faith and practice, justification by faith, and the priesthood of all believers. WLI holds to the beliefs that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that Jesus was born of a virgin; that He was physically raised from the dead; and that an individual’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior determines each individual’s eternal destiny in heaven or in hell. The fulfillment of Jesus’ Great Commission to make disciples of all nations is the central focus of Wagner Leadership Institute.
wli core values
The Day of the Saints – WLI believes in the ministry of the saints, meaning every believer is called to do the work of God’s kingdom, whether in the church, workplace or other spheres of influence. There is no dividing line between the pulpit and pew: we are one in the Body of Christ.
Impartation & Activation – WLI training includes equipping students through knowledge and revelation, then anointing them to go forth in power. This impartation comes from God and flows through the seasoned faculty (mothers and fathers in the Kingdom), who minister to students out of their real life ministry experience and proven giftings. As impartation occurs, students are activated and released into the flow of God’s anointing.
Maturity – One goal of WLI is for each student to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, as demonstrated through character, power and love. Spiritual maturity and becoming more like Christ is a process. Every disciple must seek to grow into a deeper, more intimate walk with the Lord. We are perfected, transformed and matured in His presence.
Spirit of Excellence – The desire of the WLI faculty and staff is to glorify God in all they do by serving the Body of Christ with a spirit of Kingdom excellence as God’s Kingdom is advanced here on earth.
